Thomas Banderis partner at Executive Interim Partners. Since 2013, Mr Bander has successfully supported medium-sized subsidiaries of listed companies as an independent interim manager and management consultant.

Prior to that, Mr Bander worked as a managing director and commercial director in German subsidiaries of international groups in mechanical and plant engineering and automotive supply, where he was entrusted with improving business models and strategic positioning in highly competitive markets. In addition, the focus was always also on the identification of specific cost drivers and the permanent optimisation of the entire value chain.

Key competences are the active management of crisis situations, change processes (incl. PMI) and corresponding negotiations with works councils, employees and suppliers. Due to his international background, Mr Bander has strong intercultural competence and a distinct understanding of what is feasible.

His industry expertise includes in particular automotive supply, mechanical and plant engineering, electrical and electronics manufacturing and biotechnology

Mr. Bander successfully completed his studies in engineering as a graduate industrial engineer at Aalen University and expanded his knowledge with a Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Maryland, MD, USA.
