Mr. von Nitzsch assumes since 25 years management tasks as CEO, COO, CRO and CTO. He has more than 25 years of business experience in Interim Management and Management Consulting.

He was previously Chief Executive Officer at Sport Group Holding, the global leader in sports and recreation surface construction. He implemented a comprehensive turnaround program that increased the company’s revenues from €500 million to €850 million, tripling EBITDA to a double-digit percentage figure and building the foundation for a successful company sale. Sport Group has approximately 2,000 employees.

As Managing Director (CEO) of Creaton, Europe’s former largest roof tile manufacturer, he developed and implemented a restructuring program involving significant cost reductions, as well as successfully implementing a performance improvement program. Revenues increased by 20% to approximately €300 million, with EBITDA more than doubling to reach a double-digit percentage figure. The company was subsequently sold at a price far exceeding the initial expectations of the former owner, ETEX Holding. Creaton has 1.300 employees.

His primary areas of expertise is leading organizations through times of crisis, the development and implementation of transformation and restructuring programs, the adaptation of business models and their consistent focus on growth, and the operational support of M&A transactions (Sale of parent company, buy & build, post-merger integration).

He is an expert in the automotive, building materials, financial services, road construction and printing industries.
