Pascal Schuster is a partner at Executive Interim Partners.

Over the past 10 years, Mr Schuster has held positions including Chief Executive (CEO), Chief Digital Officer (CDO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) for various companies in the public sector, the agency industry, the service sector and the travel industry. His focus has mostly been on business development, sales, service, process optimisation and marketing.

Most recently, Mr. Schuster held various positions as managing director in the media and agency sector, focusing on transformation and M&A. He was responsible for organic and inorganic growth, including acquisitions in German-speaking countries, as well as corporate transformation and digitalisation processes.

In his previous role as Chief Digital Officer (CDO), Mr Schuster was responsible for the digital transformation of a public sector group of companies. The focus was on the transformation and automation of the service division with various AI (artificial intelligence) applications.

Mr Schuster began his career at Puma SE, where he drove forward the integration of the southern hemisphere into the group, gaining valuable intercultural experience and insights for his future career.

Mr Schuster graduated in business administration from the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.

  • Chief Digital Officer and Chief Operating Officer of a service provider (revenue: €30 million, employees: 450), successfully digitized and restructured after a change of ownership during COVID-19, while simultaneously achieving growth (+150%) and M&A activities

Simultaneous restructuring to ensure the companies’ independence from the parent company.
  • Leading an international, cross-functional team at a German sporting goods manufacturer to integrate the southern hemisphere into its international design, marketing, and supply chain processes.
  • Leading a business development team at a German travel company to establish and establish three listed companies based in Switzerland to generate revenue growth and ensure compliance with the Swiss market and European travel law.
