Dr. Jürgen Wolf  is partner at Executive Interim Partners and managing owner of Wolf Consulting GmbH, a management consultancy specializing in marketing and sales.  In course of this advisory activity, Dr.  Wolf has especially supported medium-sized companies strategically and sales-wise, in some cases over several years.  On request Dr. Wolf offers to take over mandates such as managing director or member of the supervisory board.

Previously, he was one major shareholder and chairman of the management board of GHP Holding GmbH in Bamberg, an international group of companies with production and service units for direct marketing services.  Within 10 years he strategically rebuilt a purely national unit of less than 1,000 employees by developping new service offerings and expanded it to 25 companies in 10 countries in Europe and Asia with over 3,000 employees and about 250 million Euro turnover, before successfully selling the company to a renowned European Postal company.

Dr. Wolf started his career at Bertelsmann AG in the Arvato division, starting as an assistant to the CEO of Bertelsmann Arvato, later holding the position as CEO of an international Bertelsmann publishing house and being member of the board of directors of one of the largest printing and publishing companies of Bertelsmann.

He serves and has served as Chairman or Member of the Supervisory Board at several companies in Germany.

Dr.  Jürgen Wolf holds a degree in business administration and industrial engineering as well as  a Doctor rerum politicarum (economics) from Darmstadt University of Technology.

  • Managing director of a large marketing agency holding, specializing on sales strategy, sales marketing and optimization of sales organizations (5 years).
  • Start up-CEO and shareholder of an online platform for nutrition supplements (5 years)
  • CEO of an international publishing house with > 50 Mio. € turnover and > 100 employees. Setup of new subsidiaries abroad and innovative digital services (5 years). Parallely member of the board of one of Europes largest printing companies (> 300 Mio. € turnover, > 1600 employees) (4 years)

  • Chairman of the supervisory board of an international group of companies (25 profit centers in 10 countries, about 3.000 employees) with production and service units for direct marketing services and support of the management in the restructuring and realignment, the sale of the company to an investor as well as ongoing support in sales.
  • Member of the advisory board of a leading German glass manufacturer with international business and various organizationally independent units in Germany and abroad and support of the board in branding, marketing and sales.
  • Member of the advisory board of a leading German marketing agency group with various companies and support of the management at various start-ups for the implementation of multimedia business models as well as for the acquisition of new customers and increased sales.
  • Chairman of the Advisory Board of a private equity-led international media and publishing group and support of the management in the implementation of the buy-and-build strategy and post-merger integration, restructuring and refinancing as well as the sale of investments and assets
  • Member of the supervisory board of a private equity company and support of the board of directors in looking after the investment portfolio and in mergers & acquisitions
