Jurgen Theis is partner of Executive Interim Partners and managing director of JT Consult GmbH, which has been offering consulting services for IT projects and interim management for more than 12 years.

Mr. Theis worked for the leading provider of interim management in Germany, Atreus GmbH, as an interim manager for several years. During this time he successfully implemented many of Atreus’ mandates as an interim manager, also in CIO functions. He achieved the customers’ respect objectives. The main focus were the ERP projects, worldwide rollouts and global carve-outs.

Prior to that, Mr. Theis worked for several years for Siemens AG in many management positions and as Vice President. He managed extensive strategy and restructuring projects with a focus on the IT business. The main focus was on the consolidation of ERP processes with high cost saving potentials as well as reorganization of business processes and IT strategy. In his last position as CIO, he was responsible for a division of the telecommunications with 6,500 employees, global productions and several development sites.

Mr. Theis completed his mechanical engineering studies at the Technical University of Munich with a focus on production technology and process reengineering.

  • Interim manager and program manager for a global ERP implementation and rollout at a cable manufacturer and system solution provider. Implementation of the project management for the complete reorganization of the ERP program and the IT strategy. Development of a group-wide ERP template with highly standardized processes and successful new implementation. Responsibility for the rollouts at the Asian sales and production locations. Sustainable planning and development of an IT and ERP roadmap with support of the customer for several years.
  • CIO and program manager as interim mandate for a worldwide carve-out from a group of a company at a large engine manufacturer. Implementation of the carve-out under high time and cost pressure as well as restructurung of the IT organization with new sourcing models and cost-efficient processes for centralized worldwide IT operations.
  • Interim mandate to support the ERP implementation at a group in the aerospace and transport and security systems sector. Implementation of project methodologies and metrics to ensure the achievement of project and customer goals.
  • Project manager for a new ERP implementation by reorganization of the project apporach and full re-planning. Consolidation of the ERP solution and preparation for the implementation of the company’s digitalization strategy. Further support of the management in the furture strategic direction.
